DO NOT USE

Nol reviewed my house 6 weeks before my move but when he came on moving day he had a Budget Rental truck and it was too small. He left 1/4 of my things behind. He didn't want to take the bottom of my bed because it took up too much room but I said he had to take it. I told his assistant that my bedroom rug had to go down first before the bed in the new place but they didn't even take the rug so I had to donate a $1000 rug to a thrift store. Nol kept saying it's my fault because I have too much stuff! He left all my storage shelves and end tables so at my new place I had nowhere to put things, also the 4 drawers that fit under my bed, one of which was the cat's bed. Most of my kitchen things were left behind, all my coats and most of my clothes., and chairs etc.

He was upset that i didn't pay him the balance but I told him I'd pay the rest when he brings the rest of my things. He kept complaining I didn't appreciate him enough! BTW, my brother-in-law helped with the move into my new place so he had an unpaid full time helper!

He was supposed to meet with my friend 4 days later at the old place to assess what needed to be brought but I cancelled it because I didn't have time to check back to decide. For sure the bedroom rug couldn't come now and I was tied up trying to deal with things here with no storage to put things and coping without needed supplies.

He went into a rage and sent an email saying he was all set to see the rest of my stuff but I cancelled that! So then he was so put off that he cancelled talking to me anymore. He said it was real SHITTY to not just pay what was owing and to hold as ransom! ...How dare I do that! I had zero clue! He said I was the worst! That I cared zero about others and was very selfish!

He wished he never had helped and someone else came in and wrecked my stuff etc etc! Darn it. What could have been!

All all his helpers think I am a piece of crap please know.

This is not a professional person. No way could I have him deliver the rest of my stuff after a message like THAT! He would damage it or hold me ransom for whatever he wanted .It took me 6 weeks to find another mover who would take a small job at a reasonable cost. Nol lost $1000 for work he didn't do.... it ended up costing me another $2400.

I found out later that HE IS OBLIGATED BY LAW TO DELIVER THE REST OF MY THINGS.

I found another similar review AFTERWARD, be sure to check around.

This crazy woman was told nicely in advance to be ready for us upon our arrival as we had a tight schedule to get to the ferry! All planned by me. Not her! There are no refunds if you miss a ferry. She was not even close to being done with her packing nor ready when we arrived and I even felt for her as she came up with excuses. She also was to get rid of as much as she could which she did not and she knew the size of truck I was getting that would make the snowy Coq hwy with dual tires. I could not fit all in and filled the truck to full max! I gave options but she would not pay the extra and even shorted me 1300! Then he has the guts behind a computer to bad review me when she ripped me off! And she would not come to a solution on the next stage to get the rest of her stuff to her! She is quite mental and this review really should be vanished cause it is so unrealistic and so many falsities and ZERO thanks for all the good and getting so much stuff safely to her! What a nut case! We battled snow and winds too and not one thing was even lightly scratched! All protected well. I wished I never helped or even met her to take a loss on a long distance move like I did! See all the good reviews please and disregard this mental nut job. Karma will get to her on its own regard as liars are always liars! Liars never win in the end.

Nol and his 2 helpers kindly accommodated us, on time, and was efficient this was a huge help . The cost was extremely reasonable, and would not hesitate to recommend him again. Amazing work on a hard job

Great company and team! We moved not far but the house we moved into had nothing but stairs and stairs and more stairs. Not one box or piece of furniture could come in the house without tons of stairs. And we had a ton of big furniture. They all worked hard and professional. We chose Nol and his crew to move us from Kelowna to Victoria based on other's reviews on this site. Nol is super efficient, had the ferry and his hotel booked well ahead, was quick to respond to correspondence, organized the packing of the truck to its maximum potential, was easy to deal with and reasonably priced. He arrived with 3 courteous and hard working young men. Nol and Keith unloaded the entire truck on their own, placing items where requested. Nol even organized the garage contents on the shelves so the chaos wasn't so disruptive. We wouldn't hesitate to use Nol and his crew again. We'd recommend them to you.

Packing and moving

The movers were great. They seem to come in and get the lady all packed up. Then they came back the next day loaded everything in the truck and went to the new place to unload. Here’s where the problem is. They didn’t tell the lady to meet them there they just unloaded the truck and we’re gonna go back and get their payment, on the Monday this was on a Thursday . The lady in question was a resident at our senior facility that I have no personal relationship with but I found this company through phoning around to try and find somebody that was available when she needed it.. long story short she says Furniture wasn’t put in the right spot. She would pay the bill when they came to move the furniture. He wouldn’t go because she called him too late at night and then he posted on my work website and has sent me numerous email saying I should pay the bill and get reimbursed from her but that’s not how it works. I never signed up with him for anything. I told him it was for her right from the beginning. I contacted him originally and he has talked to her numerous times on the phone. Very shady dealings after the fact.

Oh wow! This Karen was just unreal! She was so non helpful for me to get paid by her client so I reviewed accordingly on the senior home she worked for and her. She found me and hired and yet I am still not paid a week and a half past the day the jobs were done. Was out lots of money and was not pleased. Then she goes and pulls a stunt like this and I am going to change my review now and mention this low blow! I told that lady that we were leaving! So Karen has zero ground on that! That older lady was so weird and smoked a ton and drank a ton during the day even and did not even show up for the entire unload. I even found her purse she thought she had lost! I had to put a couch on top of another couch as NO ROOM in there to do otherwise! Why Karen believes her is just beyond craziness! Karen works at Orchard Gardens in Kelowna so I would consider not booking to stay there!

Easiest move to date!

Nol and his team met us 15 minutes early, ready to go! They had everything carefully placed in the truck, blanketed as needed, within an hour and a half. They worked hard and consistently used caution with each item placing it thoughtfully where we needed it so we wouldn't have to try to lift it and move it later. They were considerate of the home and made sure everything was moved in carefully. I highly recommend these great guys to help you move into your next home. Very kind, efficient, decent rates. We hired Nolan’s crew to unload our long distance move from Alberta. They were on time & courteous, didn’t take them long to unpack and they put the boxes and furniture in all the appropriate rooms! Had good communication with nol regarding setting up my move. He was prompt in answering, although I did have to repeat myself a couple times. Pricing seemed fair and although I had to cancel my move due to personal reasons nol was great about it and there were no charges etc for cancelling only a few days out. When I’m ready to move again, I wouldn’t hesitate calling him again.

Just want to thank Nol and his wonderful team for doing an excellent job moving our household belongings from our home we sold to storage containers and then moved us to our newly built home in Lake Country 14 months later. They were very punctual, fast and careful with our belongings and never broke or scratched anything in our new home while placing things in the appropriate rooms. Great efficient move!

This person you just cannot please at all, period, and she is super eccentric. And just all nutty texting me at 11:30 pm at night! I sent a signed in ink receipt that she just did not like the style of and just that provoked her so easily and without any real reason to give us a 1 star review!??? Really??? Plus this review was a very same copy and paste to her same one off Google and is not not a copyright issue?
I was not told about them having a piano to move but we still did move it without the proper amount of helpers and without the proper cart and without straps and without any damage. And there was no damage to any items as usual. I take pride in blanketing and protecting items always! How does no damage and not being told about the piano and a receipt she did not like the style of warrant a 1 star??? Some you just cannot please at all ever and she is definitely one to probably never ever write any good review for any business. Please see all my other reviews and please just disregard this review which is the only one not a high star review. And a false unwarranted one at that. Thanks.

Moving Cabinets

We were in a bind and needed someone on very short notice to move furniture purchased privately from two different addresses to our address. Logistically, the move also needed to be coordinated with the two sellers schedules so there were a lot of moving parts. Nolan secured a cube van and a helper within 12 hours of our call and arrived 15 minutes ahead of schedule to our first pick-up location. From there, the move was handled efficiently and carefully from start to finish to ensure no damage to the furniture we purchased. Nolan offered us a very fair quote despite the short notice and ultimately charged less than what was quoted. He and his assistant were pleasant and professional to work with. We would absolutely recommend this company for your moving needs.

Efficient Movers

I had used Nol and his team two years ago and they were great and this second time did not disappoint. Great guys

It was a very hot day when these guys pulled up. And that didn't slow them down one bit. We had quit a bit to move and a couple flight of stairs. They filled the truck to the brim. I had two moves!

I had sent email requests for quotes. Nol, sent a note back that so honest, I really liked it. He and his team helped me with my move from house to condo. They were very efficient, clean, polite, respectful and made the whole process smooth without incident. The fee was reasonable and not over the top. I enjoyed working with Nol and his team, so much so that I hired them to move my office. Again, very respectful and efficient. They weren't expecting me to have so much stuff in the office, but the accommodated and made it all work well. The staff enjoyed the friendly bantering and the smooth process they provided.
